BLACK GARDEN 3

a haiku
by AZsacra ZARATHUSTRA
English translation by Aidar Ismagilov

when flower's turned:
the petals... flutter,
the butterflies bloom.

falling leaves
pass ahead of the still
snow.

the snail has entered
its labyrinth:
minotaur!

the hole
on the leaf made by the worm is...
the abyss!

the unity
of smallest drops is...
the tsunami blow!

to burn the temple
by the shine of
the sunny bee!...

no one can see:
the purity is covered by
the speck of dust.

the wild geese
went astray -
the sky is endless!

in careless
flutter of the butterfly there is -
the Art of War.

locust come!
the fields are fatigued
from the flower beauty...

the snow is soaked
with the blood...
the she-wolf runs.

the hail has killed
all worms on you, the
meaningless lotus.

without pity dies
the tenderness of...
the broken boughs.

oh how strong is
love of wolf for...
the torn roe!

the snake bit... and again
it nestles up to ground
like in grief.
