NIHILBASHO 4

a haiku
by AZsacra ZARATHUSTRA
English translation by Aidar Ismagilov

severance
of the petals makes the Whole
rose...

remember
about heart
of the speck!

the leap
of squashed worms
in lightning.

the labyrinth
dies away inside
the snail...

the wounded butterfly
crept into
the flower...

the spider by its web
has concealed
the fire.

at the reflection
aims
the mirror.

the tail
throws off
the lizard...

the tremble
and the shiver under
the skin...

the thinnest
vortex
in the teardrop...

fear,
oh Light,
to cry!

the clanging
of cicada in the piece
of ice...

the swallow
casts the shadow
of the black kite...

the path
in air
through petals...

the lack of drop
on the tip
of the leaf.

the fall of buzzing
bumblebee... in chaos
of soft caterpillars.

gushed out
without streams
the rain...

the tremble's caught
in the trap
of the thrill!

stings of dead bees
shows the path to cold
of dead nestlings.

back into the speck of dust
compression
of the explosion.

on the other side
of the void of the butterfly -
is the naught of the wolf.

While not conventional eastern haiku (as most american haiku isn't either) this is still a superb piece of work. Again it is the powerful images and original phrasing that make this truly stand out. Every stanza is flawless and very strong-as with your other works, the surface covers a deeper meaning.
