If only I could tell you
What I feel, deep in my soul

Then you'd respect me, as an equal
And not exclude me, for who I am

But I'm different from you
And unable to speak

So, I've been disrespected often
Throughout my eleven years

But I'm better off, because I know
How to appreciate the simple things in life
