I can't make you love me,
though i have tried.
i cannot erase the stains,
that show the tears I've cried,

i can't erase my pain,
when no one is there to help me,
i can't show you something,
you just don't want to see,

I can't heal your wounds,
that you won't let me touch,
i can't read your soul,
i can only do so much,

I can tell you that i care,
and say i will be by you,
i can be right there,
when there is something you want me to do,

but i can't catch the tears,
that hardly ever fall,
and i can't take your heart,
if in front of it is built a wall,

i can't erase your pain,
if i don't know it's there,
i can't smile though my day,
wondering if you care,

i can only do so much,
like worship your heart,
i can only glue the pieces,
when you fall apart,

i can't give you wings to fly,
if you don't want me to,
i can only say i care,
and that i love you,

I can't be happy,
thinking you like someone other then me,
i can be the girl,
that drowns in her tears sea,

i can't be an angel,
without you as my halo,
i can not be saved,
if you are not here to be my hero,

I can't say i hate you,
i can't say i don't want you in my life,
i can't stop my tears,
when i have a strife,

i can't fight my battle,
with out crying and falling apart,
i can't glue my own heart,
in the end if you tear my heart apart,

there is many things i can do,
and many things i can't do,
but let me tell you this,
one thing i can do is love you......................
