Lifes Fears

by Amber   Feb 28, 2007

Tears trickle down her face,
Her fear has finally come,
The one she always thought about,
The day they wouldn't be one,

He left her for another,
All alone to cry,
He left her in the corner,
To wallow and to die,

He doesn't even notice her,
When she walks past him in the hall,
She tries to speak to him,
But the tears start to fall,

Mascara running down her face,
As she enters the class,
People making comments,
This girl they do harass,

His friends are always teasing her,
telling her she's a wh***,
Tears just keep on falling,
Making a puddle on the floor,

Rumors went around the school,
That she was sleeping around,
Well they were together,
She found this was confound,

She really wasn't like that,
She wouldn't do that to him,
She loved him oh so much,
That an ocean she would swim,

She tried to let it all go,
But she couldn't take it no more,
She cut her wrist just once,
Then in her wrist she carved wh***,

For she felt everyone should know,
Just why her life had to end,
Letting people know,
Her heart would never mend,

The next day at school,
People had shed some tears,
Knowing now that death is,
Some of life's biggest fears,

On her wrist was a carving,
That made people drop to the floor,
I'm just a girl in love,
But to them I'm just a wh***,

He couldn't understand,
For he thought what people said was true,
But now he finally figured out the truth,
Now he really knew,

She never was a cheater,
The rumor was a fake,
He felt so horrible on the inside,
That his life he did take,

He was found beside her grave,
With a carving on his wrist,
please bury me beside her
So god knows we do exist

Existed as a couple,
That they were meant to be,
Up in heaven together,
Two beautiful angels to see,

The school is filled with silent hallways,
rumors aren't told no more,
Everyone realized that lies,
Can close life's littlest door.
