Wheel

by shanon   Feb 28, 2007

The wheel going faster and faster,
Quickly rewinding the memories that were slowly forgotten.
Watching the wheel go faster and faster,
Watching the lights blur.
Forgetting what was slowly remembered,
The memories slowly rewinding.
Going faster and faster, as the memories that were slowly remembered,
Quickly rewind.
Faster and faster,
Dizzier and dizzier,
Around and around.
Forgetting what was slowly remembered.
Washing them away with water,
Burning them away with fire.
Slowly forgetting what was quickly remembered,
The wheel going faster and faster,
The lights and colors a blur.
Getting dizzier and dizzier.
Rewinding the memories quickly forgotten,
Rewinding them to nothing, to oblivion.
Quickly rewinding them,
Slowly forgetting them.
Around and around and around,
Dizzier and dizzier,
Over and over again.
Quickly forgetting what was slowly forgotten,
The lights and colors a blur.
Dizzier and dizzier, around and around,
Till it stops.
Quickly forgetting what was quickly forgotten.
Faster and faster till it stops,
Fully rewinded.
Slowly forgetting what was slowly forgotten.
Over and over again.
Quickly forgetting what was slowly remembered,
Slowly remembering what was quickly forgotten.
