XXShe Wants Out Of That PlaceXx [this one means a lot]

She's been in there for weeks
Though everything;s still the same
She wants medication of some formation,
But she isn't in any pain.

"If I got a pill I'd feel at least like it were doing something"
Is what she continuosly repeats,
But she just sits around from day to day,
Just like all the previous weeks.

"I'm ready to go home tomorrow"
She says almost sounding naive.
As people try not to say anything at all
Because this is when she is vulnerable to believe.

If time were to hurry up,
She could go be with her sister,
Ever since the day Dot died,
Joyce has dearly missed her.

They were ever so close,
Like you wouldn't believe,
Which made it horrible, the truth
That Joyce had to recieve

After her sister passed away,
Her life dramatically change,
Tends to happen when you loose someone,
But her whole life had re-arranged.

She appears to have so much life still in her,
But there's so much she didn't remember,
If it were all simple things like she used to like football
It wouldn't bother me too much,
But she gave a shock expression when talking about the fact her brother has died.

With a smile she laughed it off,
"He gone too? Oh well he wasn't as important."
It broke my heart to watch.
Though her view on the topic
Shows a stronger side.

Her brother showed an almost worried look
Prior to the day he died,
But this look isn't present in Joyce's eye,
She seems rather happy and somewhat content.

She doesn't like being there,
She wants to be at home or back with her sister
Why time is waiting so long, seems cruel,
Though we don't want her to go,
But she's in a nursing home,
Only visitors walk into those places and walk out again,
It seems this is where it ends.
