Your Beauty

by Ryan   Mar 1, 2007

It's happened so many times before
There is nothing these boys can do
To combat the heartache that comes
With the beautiful girl, and her love

Don't say that it's my fault that I hurt
Because I have no heart anymore
You've killed me, because you stole it
The heart that I loved you so dearly with

I cut my wrists to relieve that pain
Not to bring more upon my soul
It makes me feel better than the times
When I was the guy you hated most

Those days were the worst and still are
There's really nothing you can do now
To shatter this already broken heart
Just give up on me, I'm not yours today

It was your resonating beauty
That roped me in so tight
One melancholy gaze that captured me
And brought my heart to you that fateful night

After we were torn apart by your heartless ways
I realized how easy it is to notice why
Why I'm tearing apart my body to deal
To deal with the pain that you've caused me

It's not my uneasy heart that tears me apart
It's your beauty, the beauty that I first adored
You had the gorgeous smile and eyes of an angel
And there was not a girl who had anything more

It was that very beauty that caused my suicide
The suicide of my life, destruction of my soul
Roped me in tight, and killed me off
I could not deal with such a loss

Your beauty.
