Sun in the Face

by Jemma   Mar 1, 2007

I sat in times unmeasured
By the sands of some ethereal stormy land
Next to a cascading scene of waves and swirls
As waters cleanse inside
The cavities of a soul
With so many songs yet unsung
Towards the autumn morn
Of another broken day
With the birds flight of inner delight
As the sun is kissed
By a fresh sky
And as silver laces the sea
And gold lines the clouds
Your hearts sings out to me
And the shadows of yester eve
Strike down upon this weary face
And refreshed by stillness found
Time looks upon and smiles at me

**i think this should be a love poem, but possibly nature**
