Daddys Little Girl

by Jessica Lynn   Mar 1, 2007

Some people would say he's an addict
Some people would say he's a friend
But in my eyes hes a father

What hes done in the past doesn't matter to me now
Yeah ill admit he was acting like a clown
But he made up for it by showing he was there
And hell stick by me and always care

I had a perfect life at one point
But shit happened and it became tough
Relationships split and it became real rough

I used to be daddy's little girl
We were each others everything, each others world
One day something went wrong
And our days became long

Fighting and bit*hing is what we became good at
In fact thats the only way we got to speak to each other is when we cracked
I no longer call him a father, but someone I hate

Then he came along and it was like fate
He picked me off my feet and showed me I was strong
Made me feel like I was important and that I belonged
He might of made mistakes in his life too
But at least he'll be there when I need a hand
I know I can cant on this man

I just want to thank him for proving he's a dad
Because some people don't appreciate things and its just sad!

Dedicated to Cy Gindle
Someone I know I can always go to
