A lonely leaf floats down a stream
A rose in love a flowers dream
They catch a tide and finally meet
They float together soft and sweet
Floating along they are on their way
To a happy ending to a beautiful day
They hear the thunder and start to shake
The rose gets scared, so much at stake
As the rain starts to fall, they get pushed apart
The rose is left with a broken heart
