See I cannot specifically recall,
Declaring that I'm in love.
Yes I love you just like I love all,
But it's not like you're send from above.

Maybe once I felt something like warmth,
One butterfly that twitched at that time?
My throughout my life and all my storms,
You were more like my partner in crime.

Even your lips felt like dust on my tongue,
When we played out YOUR moment of glory.
Why should it feel right when it's obviously wrong?
For my destiny is just not you - I'm sorry.

Because love has no rules and no reasons,
I just cannot explain this cold twist in fate.
For we are living in two different seasons,
And you will always be 2 minutes to late.
