Tears Don't Fall (Acrostic)

by Italian Stallion   Mar 2, 2007

Tears don't fall
Embedded they are
And no matter what
Rounds the corner
Somebody cares for you

Deciding whether it's true
Or not, is up to you
Nobody can tell you what to do
The reason I'm telling you all of this,

For the first time, I came to realize
All my life I was sad and down
Looking for an answer that didn't exist
Looking for someone to love, when really I was loved all along

Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each line spells a word, usually using the same words as in the title. Pretty straight forward, no rhyme scheme or syllable count.

This was a really good poem. I love acrostic poetry. By the way what inspired you? Was it the Bullet For My Valentine song "Tears Don't Fall"? I don't know I'm just guessing

Enjoyable read. The final stanza was perfect and concluded the poem well. Short but with meaning. Only suggestion is to correct spelling error weather=whether. 5/5

When i looked at your list of poems, i was curious about this one, because the title remembered me of a song by bullet for my valentine...as i read the poem i was wonderfully surprised by seeing that with the same title, you managed to write a poem far much better than one of my fav. songs...

but i guess the beauty of the poem can speak for itself...
