The day Aunty Joan got locked in the loo

by Mardy   Mar 2, 2007

The sun was out the sky was blue.
The day Auntie Joan got locked in the loo.

The knob on the inside had come off in her hand,
so there she was locked in the can.

She yelled, screamed and knocked on the wall,
but nobody came, no one at all.

She hollered and banged and sat down in disgust,
"Someone will come soon, to go they must"

At first she thought the idea daft,
but then fitted the knob back on the shaft.

She held them together with a pin from her hat,
she twisted it though and around and flat.

She jiggled and joggled and it turned at last,
and out she came like a thundercloud, cast

To the surprise of the folks outside she called
"You could have come to my rescue" she bawled

But nobody had heard no one at all
her yells and screams and bangs on the wall

With the food and drink and bright sky of blue,
No one had known Auntie was locked in the loo.
