Nothing Left to Lose

by LostLikeTearsInRain   Mar 3, 2007

I offered you a ticket
To the center of my heart
I offered you my body
But looking back, it wasn't smart

Just another catastrophic end
To something that was never quite true
Thanks for showing me the pain of love
Or else I never would have knew

Don't judge me because you don't even know
What our love did to my sanity
When it came down to it
All you gave was vanity

I run around in circles
Every single day
I feel as if I'm searching
For anything to say

You were everything to me
But look what had to occur
Lately I'm constantly looking back
At what we are and what we were

So to you I say goodbye
A word I never wanted to use
But now that you are officially gone
I have nothing left to lose

This is so cool. (as in the story of it, not the way you felt) Amazing job! I hope one day I can write as well as you
