Forgotten Angel

I looked into your eyes
And saw invisibility
Could you see me standing there?
Or were you looking right past me?

Did you hear my voice call out?
Did you hear my scream of pain?
Did you simply ignore me?
Or think I was insane?

I tried to make it last
I tried to hold on tight
When you slipped through my fingers
I lost my dreadful fight

I died on the inside
And now it is soon to be the outside too
You do not know this kind of pain
Not this type of blue

You never felt this burn
Or the bitter cold of loves hell
I am a completely
Forgotten angel

    Well, another great one...I think I am getting some sort of stigma tho...the poems you had me read are all about this guy leaving you....or at least I think its the same guy. Great job, 5/5! when i am done reading all of the other 44 poems I have left, and I get my eye sight back, I will try and rid myself of the stigma and read another poem or 6 of yours. -me
