I'm Still Winning

by LostLikeTearsInRain   Mar 3, 2007

When only you hold the feelings of love
You feel as if you don't belong
As if you are misunderstood and unfairly judged
Like you did something wrong

Yet I sit and think of what I did
And I come up with not one single clue
Am I missing something?
Or is it just you?

These feelings of emotional distress must cease
Before I have to put my heart on lease

I want you to miss me
Am I wrong to think this way?
I hope not because,
I think it everyday

I need some answers and I need them quick
I understand how you fall in love
But I lack the knowledge to fall out of love
Ocassionaly I want my heart to fly away like a dove

Please don't me for who I am
Because of the same one that you cared so deeply for
Or was it all a lie
A lie to settle the score

I love you the same as I did at the very beginning
So as far as the love game goes, I'm winning
