Though childhood life seems so easy ,
or so that is how childhood should be.
Childhood should be full of happiness ,
the smile of a child is precious to see.
The teenage years get a little tough ,
all sorts of emotions come about.
First loves are put down to experience ,
our feelings just seem to rush out.
With adulthood comes responsibilty ,
relationships become harder to work at.
A job to find to the pay the bills ,
along comes worries about this and that.
Becoming a parent is hard but a joy ,
the love for a child is like no other.
The ups and downs are all worth it ,
for your child nothing is too much bother.
Events and emotions throughout life ,
all happen for for a reason in some way.
How we cope with these such things ,
is what makes us who we are today.
Life may not be how we want it to be ,
the paths we take are not always right.
There will be things we can't control ,
and times when nothing seems bright.
I am sure I am not alone in having a dream ,
a dream of sometimes a better life.
A life where there is no hurt and sadness ,
free from all thats bad and any strife.
