Trapped In The Depths Of My Mind

Can you see the everlasting twinkle
Of sadness in my hazel eyes?
Its a result of weeping for far too long
Feeling the wrath of the meaning of pain
Pushed to the limits of intensity
Locked away from sanity
Forced into the world of insanity
Trapped in a world of eternal darkness
The right to understand taken away
A heart inside of me once yearned to love
But the feeling of love was stolen and lost
Replaced with the feeling of pure hatred
My soul disappears through the passage way to hell
I fear to close my eyes at night
For I dread returning to the depths of my mind
What would be thought of as unimaginable
Turned to a cold reality..

*One question I will always ponder upon is, What would it feel like being trapped in your own mind??*

    Being trapped in your own mind is what other people call crazy .. i don't think it is though i think it's true brilliance to be captivated within your own mind

    Ending is so sad, true and effective. I like topics of your poems, and wording is great. Once again excellent poem, it is very emotional and you wrote it superbly. rhythm of this piece is incredible. Well done!!! It really deserves 5/5

    thanks for reading my song lol it has a rough draft of what the chorus it, I normally dont post things like that but I didnt want to out it on my myspace so i threw it on here lol
