Hurt

I hear the yells and i see the tears.

Mommy thinks I'm asleep

but Wat she doesn't can't hurt her.

i hear the slaps and i hear her fall.

daddy says that that ain't all.

i hear her yell no but daddy don't listen.

Now i hear nothing.

Thats scares me even more.

I hear daddy laugh

now i hear him coming

my door handles turning

i pretend I'm asleep.

But he tries to wake me.

he slaps my face and yells at me.

i cry through my closed eyes

then feel a sharp pain

i know its over i open my eyes

and say thank you,
