I love you too much to hurt you,
But that's all I seem to be able to do.
I hate the emotional scars I have made,
But by slipping into depression i have paid.

I have screamed and yelled,
Threatened and cried,
But when I reflect on what I have done,
I wished I could have died.

Through all my love,
I have still cause you pain.
And through all my apologies,
The tears still rain.

Those scars may never fade,
And time may cause more wounds,
But know that I am sorry,
