A Teen Trying to Live.

by Crystal   Mar 5, 2007

We're just teens trying to live.
We have no money, nothing to give.
You criticize but if you only knew.
Try living this hell from our point of view.
Things have changed since you were a kid.
Although we do some of the same stuff you did.
You don't understand the pain you cause.
Sometimes I wish we could put life on pause.
The depression you have brings me down.
When I want to smile I can't help but frown.
You say you give up you feel like dying.
Everyday I deal with your crying.
I don’t want to deal with it anymore.
My soul is tattered my heart is sore.
Can't we fast forward life a couple years?
Just to a point where I have less fears.
I just want all this to stop.
I want to climb this mountain of life to the top.
My hope is that I can give.
I'm just a teen trying to live.
