What is Love? Honestly?

Love,
what is it.
is it a feeling,
or is it just another thing to make you feel like sh**,

who came up with it,
how did it happen,
why do some people,
their love they pretend,

are they afraid of getting hurt,
afraid of having to cry,
afraid of getting heart broken,
or afraid of wanting to die,

afraid of wanting to take a chance,
or taking a step forward,
afraid of getting another loved one,
just to lose them moving onward,

why did god create it,
when so many people get hurt,
why do some people find it,
yet others get treated like dirt,

why is it so powerful,
and how does it change peoples lives,
how can it turn someone so perfect,
into them playing with knives,

how can it make tears,
pour down people's face,
one by one,
just like a chase,

is it a good thing,
or bad,
is it happy,
or sad,

is it both,
is it one,
is it boring,
or fun,

why does it break hearts,
yet so them back with glue,
why can't it take one,
why does there have to be two,

why can't you find love in your first person,
why do you have to take a chance,
how come sometimes,
you have to change,

why does it cause sorrow,
why does it cause agony,
what is love,
