All of me

by becca   Mar 5, 2007

Another dusk,
Another dawn,
And I'm still crying crystal tears.
Another trip,
Another fall,
And I'm still fighting forbidding fears.
Another night,
Another day,
And I think I'm moving on,
But I remember your face,
And I remember your ways,
And I realise I was wrong.
The image in the mirror,
Still portrays a lonely face,
Of lips longing for your tender kiss,
Of arms for your warm embrace.
I've sat back and counted 100 years,
But now realise those years were seconds,
I've been but minutes without you here,
Still sweet surrender beckons.
Your softest song is all I know,
Your face is all I see,
And though you're far away, and I'm still here,
You still have all of me.
