Silence

Thoughts echo in their heads,
As silence escapes their lips.
Words left unsaid seems to pound
The surrounding walls.

Profound.

They never had enough time.
The clock ticked, as they wished
It to stand still.

Yet, now, the world turns,
Leaving them with thoughts unsaid.
Words no longer fill the emptiness.

Pieces of broken conversations.

The distance that seperates their hearts
Is now inevitable.
The time has come

To speak of the silence.
