Dance, Dance in the Rain

by Coeur Cassa Sage   Mar 6, 2007

She's dancing
Dancing in the rain
And while people watch
They think that she's insane
But she's not going insane
Just because
She's dancing
Dancing in the rain
Her hair
Is in a pony tail
And she's singing
Singing like a knighting gale
Black pants
Cover her legs so skinny
A grey hoodie
Covers a shirt so kiddy
Her arms
Spread out like she's gonna fly.
Her face
Looking toward the sky
Her eyes are closed
And she has a smile
Like this is fun
Dancing
Dancing in the rain.
She stops dancing
Her eyes open
Her smiles gone
Arms down
Like all her happiness is done
She remembered
She remembered him
And she cried
Cause he died
He did this
And so did she
They did it
Together so happily
He took his hand in hers
And they danced
Danced in the rain
They had so much fun
Dancing
Together in the rain
She loves the sun
He was her sun
She loved him
He loved her
And when he left
She couldn't think
And tried to blink
Back hot tears
Wait
She smiles
She laughs
He's there
With her
Invisible
She holds hands with air
Everyone stares
But she doesn't care.
They dance
Dance in the rain
She did that
Every time it would rain
That was her life
And that was mine
We share one life
Both combined
So one day
I decided to end the pain
I needed sunlight
No more rain
So that day I left
Without second thoughts or fights
I'm OK now
And so is he
But now there is a we
I have my sunshine
No more cloudy days
I haven't felt like this in a long time
Happy
I see light
But in my heart
We both still dance
Dance in the rain
