The Alamo

by Coeur Cassa Sage   Mar 6, 2007

The sky is on fire
Smoke is rising higher
I hear the beat of drums
I wait to face my doom yet to come
I flinch as a bullet passes by
The sun is setting in the sky
Total silence is followed after
I hear the Mexicans say
"Ready, Aim.....FIRE!!!!!"
I decide to climb higher.
I get up to look out there
I see the Mexican army very near
BOOM!
A cannon ball is thrown to the Mexican side
I hold up my gun and fire once
I hit one guy, and the cannon ball hits a bunch
“They're coming! They're coming!"
Davy Crocket screamed
Sure enough, ladders come up
And my hope is not redeemed
We are doomed I say to my self
They are firing at will
A bullet hit my friend Bill
They stab people left and right.
They try to kill us with all their might.
The Mexicans see me.
I act like I'm dead.
"Good-bye my dear wife and daughter in bed!"
I can not tell you the rest because after that....
I was dead.
