I'm Lonely

I feel lonely and it's a scare.
There are some things that I just can't bare.
Like sitting in an empty room,
Watching the shadows loom.
Bad things happened to me,
And now I just can't see,
How people can treat me so bad,
Acting like their really sad.
I can't get my head on straight
So now I guess I'll have to wait
My life right now is screwed up
Just because of this one big bump in the road
They all think that's it's a big deal
So now I'm putting on the seal
That says I'll be OK.
They can stop worrying anyway
The myth says
Find a penny,
Pick it up,
All day long you'll have good luck
But that's not working for me,
Now it's becoming my responsibility
I can't find a man
Who has the guts to take my hand
And comfort me every step of the way
I can't get my head on straight
So now I guess I'll have to wait
