What Turns a Man On

by turtle   Mar 6, 2007

What turns a man on?

I'd say,

A woman's scent

A woman's physique

And to some extent,

A woman's technique

Man indeed has different interests

What they are, is quite hard to detect.

When a man and woman walk abreast

Predicting what they're thinking should challenge your intellect

Now let me go back to this funny little lore

About what makes a man take a second glance

Hope I'm not becoming too much of a bore

Do read on and give me a chance

So, what turns a man on?

The slender curves that their eyes can trace

That sweet smell that catches their attention

The graceful, kind actions and that beautiful face!

Of one of God's most, magnificent creations!

I really like this! I admit the title had me expecting a more blunt piece but your rhyming somehow pulled it together quite nicely. I thought the structure and format was used well, and your descriptions were written both poetically and fitting. The rythm, I think, contributed a lot to the piece. I loved the first stanza (and the last line...I mean, we females ARE pretty magnificent).

One thing, I think this line,
"Predicting what they're thinking, will undoubtedly challenge your intellect"
was too long and wordy and threw the rhytm off balance.

Other than that I thought it was an Excellent read. great job
