On My Mind

The moon is bright,
The stars are flickering,
The sand is thick,
And the waves are crashing.
Yet, all I can think about is you.

The wind is blowing,
Kids are playing,
The swings are swaying,
And the flowers are smiling.
But all I can think about is you.

I try to get distracted
From the thing that has taken over my mind,
But he fills my days,
And lights my nights.
He's always on my mind.
