His eyes sparkle like the midnight sky,
Fierce but tame is the passion within them,
The night grows cold,
But his eyes remain warm
Wanting to be in his welcoming arms,
To feel his heart beat in the silence of the night,
To lay with my head upon his chest,
Watching as the candles flicker
Wanting his sweet skin upon mine,
As I run my fingertips along his cheek,
Time would stand still as I looked into his eyes,
Trying to read his beautiful face
Wanting to hear his soothing voice,
Telling me everything will be okay,
And whispering into his ear,
Telling him he is cared for
Wanting him to know,
When he smiles I smile,
When he is sad I am sad,
When he needs someone I will be there
Wanting him to feel special,
And as the days go by,
Know I grow fonder of the man that he is,
And wants to be
Wanting my unheard words to mean something,
Wanting them to reach out to him,
Letting him know,
I want to know who he is and be close to him
For now my hopes will stay in my heart,
And my feelings continue to grow,
And as the last candle dies out tonight,
I will fall asleep,
Whispering his sweet name..
