She was so into life
It's fun and it's spice
But she never dreamed
Of the horrible day
When the doctor would come to her and say
The horrible word with a meaning so great
That word scared our family
That word scared her too
And we were crying inside and out
But there was nothing we could do
That special kind of woman
Laughing and playing in spite of that word
Was an inspiration to all
And clearly was heard
Then one night she lay in her bed
She had a terrible ache in her head
She knew God was calling and wanter her near
So she swallowed her pride and showed no fear
My God I am ready to follow You there
She said this very slowly and with great care
And with that she was lifted into the sky
On a bed of stars and as she looked back she cried
Sarah she said with a smile towards Earth
Never forget me and what you are worth
Pretend that I am with you wherever you are
And when you miss me just look at the stars
There I will forever be and you can say Grandma Inny is watching over me
That one horrid word can change your whole life
Especially when you think there are no worries or strife
Cancer is what hits you like the bullet of a gun
And that's why I believe in God's only Son
