Dear Darling

by Sean Brady   Mar 7, 2007

Oh dear darling what's it like over there
I wouldn't know when I'm so far over here
Oh dear darling what are you doing tonight
I'm sorry I wouldn't know because I don't get off till late at night
Oh dear darling the things you put through my head
I'm sorry that was a lie and something I shouldn't have said

I don't know what to say about my working so much
Its making me feel distant and out of touch
But I'm keeping my feels strong
And I won't be away for that long
Because I miss you dearly
That much I can see clearly

Oh dear darling where are you now
I wouldn't know because I'm not around
Oh dear darling what's new today
I wouldn't know because I'm too busy making pay
Oh dear darling what's on your mind
I'm sorry I don't know because I'm confined

Every second I can spend with you I will
You make me want time to stand still
I'm trying my hardest dear and I hope you can see
That everything I'm doing isn't just for me
It's to treat you like the angel you are through my eyes
The one that makes my heart fly high through the skies
