Like I loved

by Hannah Emellia   Mar 7, 2007

My secret desire ignites the fire
to the burning in my soul,
Hidden schemes and twisted things
they'll never make me whole.

I'm sick of crying I'm still dying
I'm cold and dark inside,
My secret love a golden dove
But still I wont confide,

What I want I'll never flaunt
I couldn't bear rejection,
My fears they turn to tears
In my broken reflection,

Maybe I should end what I never had to mend,
My heart I'll rip in two,
The broken shreds they turn to led,
And those I'll give to you.

Take the heart I've ripped apart,
Love it like I had loved,
Please forgive I couldn't live
I felt like I was shoved.
