Chuckling Clouds

by I Seem to be the Heartless   Mar 7, 2007

The clouds are huddling,
Whispering secrets,
Conspiring.
Their whispers grow louder,
Rumbling in the distance,
As their plan starts to come together.
A light brightens up the horizon,
Jumping from one cloud to another -
A new plan coming to light.
The clouds, still huddling together,
Begin to laugh,
Their laughter rumbling across the land.
They laugh so hard at their little plan
That tears fall from their eyes,
Showering the earth,
With their increasing laughter.

As their laughter subsides,
The rumbling dies down.
The shower stops as they wipe away their tears.
The clouds disperse, taking their secrets with them,
Chuckling softly every now and then.
As they come across new clouds,
Their conspiracy starts again . . .

This was an interesting poem. I really enjoyed reading this. Each line was smoothly written and everything fell together well. Brilliant job.
