A rumor was going around
That I was cheating on you
You got mad and said you believed it
Even though it wasn't true

You couldn't trust me enough
To know I would never cheat
So you weren't worth my time
And I didn't deserve the beats

You've yelled and you've fought
You've even slapped me once
One day I got strong
And said "I'm fed up, I'm done"

I'm tired of all your lies
And you making me feel second best
I spilled out my heart to you
And everything, I did confess

But now you're out of my life
I only want to forget about you
My feelings changed because of a stupid rumor
And you believing it was true
