A morning Just a normal morning With school And work Wake up early Just to leave on time To go to that place You had to be that day Some stay home For some reason Or another Just stay home How could any normal morning Wind up so bad? How could any normal morning End with the morning of millions? Starting with a conspiracy Ending with a tragedy Starting in a fantasy after heavenly dreams Ending with America’s worst nightmare Down Down Down A building goes Down Down Down Yet another goes Buildings that nobody Ever really noticed Buildings that everybody Saw in pictures in text books These buildings So far away Yet So important These are the victims Of a conspiracy You can say otherwise You can believe the lies of the government But not me I remember just as well Just as well as everyone else But I remember more than an airplane I remember more than smoke More than the victims who never made it out More than the tears shed of millions More than what you may think Even at the age of twelve Even at the age of ninety One can see it was more than an airplane It was the result of our corrupt government No matter what you may think Osama did not cause anything Iraq did not cause anything It was all a bunch of greedy men in the government
