Eighty-Five

It's just the road, my memories and me
Doing eighty-five on this country road
Nothing matters anymore
Because I called him to tell him "Good-bye"
But when I heart his voice
I couldn't say the words I practiced over and over
So i told him I loved him instead
With tears streaming down my face
I hung up the phone

Going Eighty-Five down this road
It feels so good with the wind in my hair,
I need to finally be free
From being a jailer in my life
For so, so long

Got the music blarin' in my speakers
And my tears drying on my face

Why does it seem when you mean to say one thing
You lose everything
And you then say something else
Just staying where you are now
Because your afraid to move on in your life

    Awe. I liked this a lot. It flowed well & was greatly written.

    But when I heart his voice [heard*]

    I loved verse 3. I thought it was really good. My favorite by far :]

    I liked this. This was really well written. However, I don't think you need the last line in there. And you forgot a letter in the word THE. But that's ok. I'll point it out for you anyway:
