Choices

by Kari Gibson   Mar 8, 2007

In bad times I am here,
I always understand,
You know I'm here to catch you when you do not land,

So why is it when I need you,
You turn and run away,
I really wish that just one time you'd come back and stay,

You really do like him,
I see that, and it's true,
And although I should be happy I can't help but feeling blue,

My life is going crazy,
With one tear at a time,
Everytime I think about it I feel sour, like a lime,

You are my best friend,
And we will never end,
I just can't help but wonder who would you choose?

That's why I'm understanding,
For I cannot bear the thought,
Of losing you forever because you were caught,

Between the friends of you past,
I hope that both can last,
You will have to make that choice on your own.

I just wanted you to know,
That although I say it's fine,
Inside I am dying to stop and say "he's mine."
