Sitting here up at night
looking at the sky
with no light

wishing i could fly
wanting to know
about the secrets inside

wishing they would just show
instead they hide

listening to the clocks
turning with time

watching the slugs on rocks
leaving their slime

wandering if they feel
when they die

is it real
or is it all a lie

then the sun began to rise
all the world turned out bright
and i began to despise
this awful sight

asking myself why you hide
because all i see is lies

yeah sorry this is no where near one of my best poems so yeah still hope you enjoy it some what, i kinda forced the thoughts in it out so thats why it is not good

    At least you let your emotions out. this was a great poem. to make it just that little bit better you need to add a few more descriptive words to each sentence.

    but don't get me wrong. this is a great poem still. still i give you a 5/5

    I like it. Although, you said you forced the thoughts it still came out pretty good. I like the fact that it's saying you'll never find the answers in life and, they'll never be just handed to you and, that sometimes some things that you find will turn out to be lies but you just have to keep on going about figuring things out on your own.
