A hellish night

Crying myself to sleep at night
wishing everything was alright
but it's not
lying to myself
i say, tomorrow
will be a better day
tossing and turning
my dreams are scaring
me
not having you by my side
has me tariffed
not that you have to hold my hand
to get me through this land
but the thought would be nice
you don't need to sacrifice
your pride for me
just when i cry
help me wipe my eyes
so i don't
cry myself to sleep tonight.
