Murder In The Woods

by Jenni Marie   Mar 8, 2007

Young girl glancing around
Making sure no one can see
Dancing sky clad in the woods
Finally feeling so free

Young man hiding in the bushes
About to tear apart her world
Physically stronger than this beauty
Yet terrified of this girl.

Young girl casting circles
Singing unknown words
Calling upon God's and Goddess's
Unaware she can be heard.

Young man's eyes narrowed
Didn't like what he could see
Grabbed and bound the young girl
Hissing let this be a lesson to thee.

Young girl tried to explain
She was giving thanks for her life
He said she was calling on the Devil
Throwing those around her into strife.

I don't worship the Devil
Wicca is a part of nature, said she
Those are the words of the Devil
Trying to convince me to set you free.

As you already know
Witchcraft I don't condone
Nor do I like seeing a young girl
Out in these woods all alone.

Devil dwells inside of you
This is easy to tell
My duty to exorcise you
Beore he takes you to H e l l.

With these words spoken
Drew his knife across her throat
Her eyes opened wide
As she started to choke.

Slipping to the ground
As her life slipped away
Young man wiped his knife clean
And continued with his day.

He'd accused her of being possessed
Though he'd just made another kill
Not realizing the Devil was in HIM
He'd acted against God's will.
