Under a blanket of fear

I'm hiding
from everything
in this life
because of the pain that i feel inside

this blanket of fear
is so heavy
i can barley stand it
but luckily it's a barrier between me and you

things i want to say
things i want to do
are broken down
by this blanket of fear, of mine

can you help me lift it up
take this fear away
give it to someone else
who needs it today?
