Our Little Man

by CY GINDLE   Mar 8, 2007

You can plan on buying his
crib maybe some toys
clothes and a bib

To pick out his coffin is
not something we can
do often

Mom picks out his clothes
that he'll wear in his box
carefully places on his favorite
socks

picks out his toy
that gave him so much joy

Mom and dad kiss his little
cheek as our knees begin
to weak

Put him in a big black car
everyone follows behind
no one to far

Take him to the garden
garden of stone
Here he will stay
This is his home

We all gather round share
the love that we found
as his little body sinks to the
ground

Wishing this day would end
Our baby boy
To heaven we send

Wow that is so fu**in sad, it brought tears to my eyes. being a mother that is something I don't think that I could deal with, i don't have my kids, but i know that they are alive. I fthis is a real thing I feel for you, it has to be hard, even if it isn't it speaks to the souls of parents everywhere
