Why He Danced in the Rain

by Red Tears   Mar 9, 2007

I watched from my window
While he danced in the rain,
This boy so mysterious,
So charming, yet so insane!

I wished I had the courage
To forget about my life,
Let my hair lose, be free
And dance by his side.

He tramped in the puddles
So overwhelming was he,
So mysterious, so distant
So contained, yet so free.

He seen me from my window
And yelled "The rain is great!
Come join me, side by side
Fell happiness instead of hate!

"It is just a little rain
This rain can do no harm,
Lets share the rain together
Lets dance arm in arm!

"He might have hurt you badly
I want to take away your pain,
And make you fall in love with me
While we dance in the rain!"

He continued dancing lovely,
Through most of the day.
He was still dancing strong,
As the rain faded away.

As he danced in the rain
I really started to see
That he may have danced in the rain
But he really danced for me!

Very, very, very cute and sweet poem. Usually ! make the poem kinda you know cutesy and adorably instead of romantic. Use periods to make it more mellow. If you get my drift. Well overall awesome work! Please check out these poems. As WE Dance, Runaway. God Bless 5/5
