You promised me the world,
You said you wouldn't leave,
You said you'd always be there,
When my world would turn to shit.

You said such pretty things,
Things that I believed,
I really thought you cared,
But it was just a dream.

I did make you my world,
I gave my heart, my should to you,
I gave all a man can give,
I'd even die for you.

But you refused to see,
How love should really be,
Instead you played your game,
And made me try in vain.

I've seen you cry your tears,
About the pains there in your past,
How the guys they used you,
How love just didn't last.

You gave your heart again,
To one who doesn't care,
One who cheats and lies,
He'll leave you cold and bare.

I know you do have doubts,
I felt the tremble in your touch,
I've seen he questions in your eyes,
And the fear that hides inside.

But I Thank you for the damage,
And the pain that you have caused,
Ive grown in leaps and bounds,
And my hearts locked in a box.

    Some girls are blinded or in a case i have first hand experience with, we go for the guys who we know are bad for us because we are scared of having someone mean so much..
    I think thats it anyway

    (just so as to not confuse the reader. check for like spelling errors{i have some too} like...I gave my heart, my should to you,...kind of confused me.
    But thats just grammatical stuff.
    Your writing is excellent!
