I Had No Fear Of Death

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Mar 9, 2007

Before I met you,
I had no fear of death,
I thought I understood it.

Before I held you,
I didn't care about letting go,
And "Rest in Peace"
Meant "Go die in whatever way seems
Best to you."

Now that I know you,
Death scares me,
I can't stand the thought of you
Being alone.

Now that I love you,
I fear death,
And I mourn for the ones
Who have passed.

Now that I have kissed you,
I do not understand death,
Perhaps I never have,
Never will.

Before I met you,
I had no fear of death,
Now that I love you,
I am so afraid to leave.
