A Dream (The Faceless Face)

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Mar 9, 2007

She opens the door,
To her bedroom she walks,
She stares at the floor,
Her mouth open, she gawks.
Her friend's face, so beautiful,
It stares back at her,
Body nowhere to be seen,
But the eyes seem to have a manic glare.
She attempts to scream,
But there's a hand over her mouth,
She wonders where the rest are,
Dead, almost without a doubt.
As the evil presence behind her
Pushes her to her room,
She feels a darkness about her shoulders,
The static weight of doom.
Her boyfriend stands in her room,
His face covered by his hands,
She quickly runs towards him,
And grabs him where he stands.
As he moves his fingers
And shows his face to her,
Her mouth opens wide, no scream issues,
Her eyes grow large with terror.
He grabs her around her waist,
She struggles to let go,
All around the room,
Her friend's dead faces show.
She turns to look once more at him,
His face has no face left at all,
No eyes, no nose, no mouth, no skin,
Nothing left but his bones and skull.
As the dark evil presences move to her,
And she hears the sound of a blade's dull chop,
She opens her mouth to let out a piercing scream...
And in the middle of the night, just a dream, she wakes up.

All the people in my study hall are giving me strange looks because I'm staring at the screen with a scared look on my face. I applaud your talent of scared the snot out of people.

    Very dark and chilling.
Makes you want to look over your shoulder and make sure no one's there
    Nicely written
