Tower

by Zyrin   Mar 10, 2007

They left the tower
Traveling through night and shower
Over the river and far away
Ray to return one day
If we survive

Below us they strive
To make it to the fields
To no one would they yield
Marching through the forests
With all except the poorest
Onwards to die

And allow a feast for the birds of the sky
Fighting breaks out
With many a shout
As men stab and swing
Grimacing against the sting
They fall to be carrion
And leave the world barren

For all come
Yet not even some
Not the lucky few
Will survive the battle that will ensue
And those who fall
I knew them all
Falling one by one
Down, down, down
Into the depths of Hell.
