The Beach

by Mandy   Mar 10, 2007

I can feel the wind,
Blowing through my hair,
The soft breeze,
The fresh air,
The sun's heat,
And the tingling of the sand,
The trickling of water,
Flowing through my hands.

I feel the bright light,
Burning my eyes,
All the families,
And the cute guys,
All of the surfers,
Riding the waves,
The life guards,
So many lives that they save.

So many creatures,
That live in the sea,
All of them unique,
Just like me,
The little boys & girls,
making figures out of sand,
And all the boogie boarders,
Crashing into the land.

All the sun bathers,
That bathe in the sun,
The kids playing frisbee,
That have so much fun,
All the skimmers,
Waiting for the right time,
To slide their skim boards,
And jump on from behind.

The midnight walks,
When you take off you shoes,
Playing around,
Like you've got nothing to lose,
The feel of your toes,
Sinking into the mush,
All the old people,
Telling you to shush.

Watching the sunset,
While you lie on your back,
It's all so much fun,
Till you have to go pack,
You load up the car,
And head on your way,
Because you have to get home,
Before the end of the day.

* hope you liked it and you felt like you were there *
